You didn’t think I kept my youthful appearance by beauty treatments alone, did you!?
So, we were in Florida back at the beginning of January, 2020. Naturally, we had to visit the Fountain of Youth, which I had not been to in years...many, many years, obviously! With our treasure map, fate landed us at The Actual Fountain Of Youth! I WAS delighted! Grabbing the nearest 1 gallon pitcher, I drowned myself in beautiful drops of age-defying H2O! Low and behold..I did not get any younger! “I WANT A REFUND!” I yelled at the top of my lungs. Now, mind you, this was what happened in my own mind. I actually stepped up to the dripping fountain with my little paper cup, and took a sip. I think I did feel a bit more youthful though!
While strolling through America’s historic town montage, we came across dozens of colorful showgirls, who dazzled us with several cabaret numbers! To my dismay, they all turned out to be a bunch of prehistoric NBC logos..peacocks, and, even more disheartening, was the fact that one of them was standing by a loaded cannon ready to fire upon us! Those freaking birds were trying to horde all of the beauty treatments for themselves! I was DEVASTATED! “How can you do this to me!?” I was almost in tears! Then, realizing I was just gazing upon a magnificent, radiantly vibrant Kaleidoscopic bird standing next to a landmark cannon, I aimed my Nikon, and shot him...or her. I wasn’t quite sure at the time.
All in all, The Fountain Of Youth and its plethora of exhibits was exhilarating and extremely entertaining! What will one take away from this experience? Definitely, a great admiration for the beginnings of this Country called the United States, but , also, that the people who live in this nation, in every state...ARE, in fact, ALL FLORIDIANS!
